DMH Stallard appoints Seb Jones partner

DMH Stallard strengthens its corporate practice by establishing a commercial team led by Seb Jones
DMH Stallard has made a strategic move to enhance its corporate practice by appointing Seb Jones as a partner in the firm’s London office, where he will lead a new commercial team. This initiative will complement the existing capabilities of the firm’s commercial department, which is already led by seasoned partner John Yates. With a robust background that includes positions at prestigious Magic Circle firm Linklaters and renowned US law firm Debevoise & Plimpton, Seb brings exceptional expertise to his new role.
Before joining DMH Stallard, Seb was part of Barclays Bank's in-house legal team, specifically in their structured products division. In this capacity, he managed and developed a team of 12 professionals. For the last three years, he has been leading a commercial team at Tunbridge Wells-based Thomson Snell & Passmore, where he held the position of Head of Commercial. His extensive experience, spanning over 15 years, encompasses various sectors including energy, retail, fashion, technology, logistics, construction, and professional services, bringing a wealth of knowledge to his new firm.
Seb Jones is also noted for his entrepreneurial spirit, having co-founded a Knightsbridge medispa clinic in partnership with a US company, serving a client base made up of celebrities, business owners, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. John Yates expressed his enthusiasm about Seb's appointment, stating that it is “a very exciting and significant appointment allowing DMH Stallard to build a London-based commercial team to support our fast growing corporate business.” He further highlighted Seb's unique entrepreneurial approach as a distinguishing factor that caught their attention.
Seb himself expressed his excitement about joining DMH Stallard, saying, “DMH Stallard has an outstanding reputation for high-quality commercial work and a genuinely collaborative culture. I’m delighted to be joining such a highly regarded firm and looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the commercial team with John Yates, and to being a part of a London office close to my home and connections.” This announcement marks a significant step for DMH Stallard as it seeks to further establish its presence within London's competitive legal landscape.
