Bevan Brittan has strengthened its construction team by hiring expert partner Perveen Akhter from Freeths
Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has made a significant addition to its construction practice with the recruitment of construction and infrastructure partner Perveen Akhter, who previously served as Head of Construction and Engineering at Freeths in Birmingham. With over 20 years of experience working with both private and public sector clients, Perveen specialises in drafting and amending building and engineering contracts. She also provides advice on consultant appointments, warranties, bonds and guarantees, as well as a variety of development and funding agreements, novation agreements, and ancillary project documentation. Notably, she possesses expert knowledge in the energy sector, advising on innovative projects relating to solar, battery storage, wind, and carbon capture. Her reputation in the field is underscored by her listing as a Leading Individual in the Construction sector and as a Leading Partner in the esteemed Legal 500.
