Wedlake Bell enhances immigration services with Tim Hayes

Wedlake Bell  has announced the appointment of Tim Hayes as a Partner in its Employment and Immigration team, significantly enhancing the firm’s ability to support businesses and individuals facing increasingly complex employment and immigration challenges. Tim joins from Broadfield, where he led the Immigration Team, bringing with him extensive experience and knowledge acquired from his previous role as a Presenting Officer with the Home Office. In this capacity, he represented the UK government in various immigration-related matters including asylum, deportation, and bail issues. This background provides Tim with a unique insight into the intricacies of the UK's immigration system, allowing him to advise on a wide range of both business and personal immigration matters.

Tim is well-versed in managing the immigration aspects of employment, which encompasses sponsor licence applications, compliance with right to work regulations, recruitment of overseas personnel, and entry clearance applications. His services also extend to assisting businesses during compliance visits and advising individuals on family visas, citizenship applications, and a variety of visa routes, including Global Talent and UK Ancestry visas. Additionally, Tim holds membership in the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association, underlining his commitment to professional standards in immigration law.

In addition to his immigration expertise, Tim has a comprehensive employment practice. He provides pragmatic and commercially-focused guidance on various employment issues such as settlement agreements, workplace disputes, employment contracts, and unfair dismissal claims, including litigation representation before Employment Tribunals.
