Three Points Law enters AI legal services

Three Points Law has appointed Usman Wahid, enhancing its legal tech capabilities with innovative AI solutions
Three Points Law, the innovation-driven firm leading across tech, sport, and commercial/data practices, has announced the appointment of Usman Wahid as Partner. Usman brings 25 years’ experience at top international firms, further cementing Three Points’ status as a pioneering tech-enabled law firm. Usman was previously partner at KPMG Law, where he was head of the Technology and Data legal team, and BCLP before then. He has worked on some of the most innovative technology transactions, including advising BC Group on a joint venture to create one of EMEA’s leading digital asset ventures, a government-owned client on one of the UK’s most significant clean tech arrangements, as well as multiple digital transformation projects with contract values in the hundreds of millions.
At Three Points, Usman’s practice will focus on FinTech and other B2B tech deals, as well as digital transformation and complex outsourcing projects. Additionally, Usman is the co-founder of VennSpace, a legal AI platform for procurement, contracting, and supply chain relationship management. As a result, today also marks the integration of the VennSpace technology into Three Points’ own tech stack and client offering, launching the Three Points Flow service line. This new service line will enable Three Points to expand into larger, institutional in-house legal and procurement teams.
A key feature of Three Points Flow will be providing support to legal and procurement teams in automating multiple levels of a transaction using agentic AI and the organisation’s internal knowledge base. Commenting on his appointment, Usman Wahid said “Having followed the ground-breaking approach that Three Points has taken to delivering legal services since launch, I am incredibly excited to be joining in this exciting stage of the firm’s journey. The firm has a clear mission to combine top-level legal experience with some of the most innovative legal tech tools from around the world, and ultimately deliver a more seamless and cost-effective service for the benefit of its growing list of clients.”
Simon Leaf, co-founder of Three Points Law, also expressed enthusiasm regarding Usman's addition: “Usman is a recognised leader in technology law and innovation in the legal tech space. So when we heard there was an opportunity for him to join us and for us to incorporate VennSpace into our own offering, we seized the moment. This is a real coup for us and our clients in this exciting growth phase for the firm.”
