Taylor Wessing announces senior promotions for 2026

International law firm Taylor Wessing has announced 26 senior promotions across the UK, Netherlands, and Belgium in a strategic move to reinforce its global presence
Four lawyers have been elevated to partner, while fourteen have been promoted to senior counsel and six to counsel. These promotions emphasise the firm's commitment to professional development and exceptional client service amidst significant changes in the legal landscape. The promoted individuals represent various key practice areas such as corporate law, disputes, regulatory issues, intellectual property, real estate, and banking and finance. UK Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn expressed pride in the new cohort, stating “We are delighted to announce our 2026 cohort of new partners and senior counsel, whose expertise and leadership will play a vital role in delivering the highest levels of service to our clients.” He noted the importance of these additions as Taylor Wessing transitions to the combined firm, Winston Taylor, which aims to become a leader in transatlantic law with over 1,400 lawyers worldwide. New partners include Alison Cole, Mohammed Tartir, Shilpa Vaswani, and Margot van Gerwen among others, highlighting a diverse range of expertise set to drive the firm forward as it faces international challenges and opportunities in the evolving legal environment.
