Blandy & Blandy's quiz night raises £6,800 for charities

Blandy & Blandy's annual quiz night has set a record, benefiting local charities including two adopted ones
Leading Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy has hosted its eleventh annual quiz night, gathering 27 teams from various local banks and firms. This popular event raised an impressive amount of money for the firm's two adopted charities, Alexandra Devine Children’s Hospice Service and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, with the total reaching a remarkable £6800.
Tai Bishop, Lead for Corporate and Community Partnerships at Alexandra Devine Children’s Hospice Service, expressed gratitude saying "Thank you so much to Blandy & Blandy for hosting their annual quiz night in aid of Alexandra Devine Children's Hospice. We are so grateful for the team's support and to all of the companies who helped make it such a successful evening, enabling us to raise a fantastic sum of money. A huge congratulations to the winning team!”
Nadia Cheddi, Corporate Partnerships and Engagement Officer at Thames Valley Air Ambulance, highlighted the importance of such events stating "It was wonderful to be part of such a brilliant evening, we are incredibly grateful to Blandy & Blandy and everyone in the room who helped raise such an incredible amount. As a charity, we rely on support like this to keep our crews delivering lifesaving critical care to people across our community when they need us most. Every pound raised helps us continue to be there for the next patient who needs us.”

The successful fundraising effort was further supported by a popular raffle featuring a wide range of prizes generously donated by local businesses, including Reading Biscuit Factory, Bremont, and Fortnum & Mason among others. The combination of keen competition and community spirit made for an unforgettable evening, benefiting vital local services.
