Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) is pleased to announce the addition of maritime disputes specialists Natalie Jensen and Khalid Hamed as partners in its Dubai office
Both bring extensive experience from their tenure at Ince in Dubai, further strengthening WFW's maritime disputes capabilities.
Natalie Jensen brings a wealth of expertise in maritime, international trade, and energy sectors, acquired from her experience in both the UK and UAE markets. With a background in an International Group P&I Club, Natalie offers invaluable insights into contractual and charterparty disputes. She advises clients on various disputes related to charterparties, bills of lading, contracts of affreightment, collisions, and allisions. Her clientele includes shipowners, charterers, cargo interests, P&I clubs, and insurers.
Khalid Hamed, qualified in Egypt, boasts over 30 years of experience advising banking, insurance, manufacturing, and trading entities across the Middle East. His specialisation lies in insurance and re-insurance disputes, particularly in the maritime insurance domain. Khalid's practice involves handling insurance coverage disputes before the UAE courts, primarily for hull and machinery, and marine cargo insurers.
