Three new partners strengthen Wilkin Chapman

Wilkin Chapman Rollits has announced the appointment of three new partners, enhancing its senior team significantly
The legal landscape at Wilkin Chapman Rollits is shifting with the recent appointment of three new partners, a move that signals the firm's continued growth and commitment to excellence. The prestigious law firm, which operates across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, has welcomed Dean Hill as a partner in the dispute resolution team, along with the promotions of Stephen Watson and Katie Jacques in Grimsby and Lincoln respectively.
Dean Hill is an experienced commercial litigator who brings over 20 years of expertise in commercial disputes and litigation strategy to the firm. Previously a partner at Ramsdens Solicitors in Leeds, he is enthusiastic about his new role, stating, “Wilkin Chapman Rollits has an excellent reputation across the region, and the combination of deep local relationships and the capability to handle complex, high value work aligns perfectly with the type of practice I’ve built over the past two decades. The firm also places real value on developing people, and I’m excited to mentor junior lawyers and help strengthen the next generation of disputes specialists.” His arrival complements the firm's focus on expanding its presence in York following the earlier appointment of Monika Bone.
In Grimsby, Stephen Watson has been promoted to partner in the residential property team. Having studied law at the University of York and qualified as a solicitor in 2016, Stephen’s career has been rooted in providing expert advice on residential property transactions. Expressing his gratitude for the promotion, he said, “I am honoured to be promoted to partner at Wilkin Chapman Rollits at this exciting time for the firm. I look forward to continuing to help our clients complete their residential property sales, purchases and remortgages.”
Similarly, Katie Jacques has been elevated to partner in the real estate department. With a solid educational background in law from the University of Hull and experience in the energy and renewables sector, Katie aims to leverage her position to support clients in substantial real estate matters. She remarked, “I am delighted to have been promoted to partner. Since joining the firm, I have had the privilege to work alongside talented colleagues and advise on a wide range of clients on substantial real estate matters. As partner, I look forward to continuing to support our clients and help drive the firm’s growth.”
The firm’s recent growth isn't just limited to partner appointments, as it has also expanded its team with two new senior associates: Guy Platon, who joins the disputes and regulatory team, and Andrew Petherbridge, who is appointed to the recoveries team in Grimsby.
Wilkin Chapman Rollits, now with over 530 partners and staff, is renowned for providing comprehensive legal and insolvency advice to both private and commercial clients. Positioned as Lincolnshire’s and Yorkshire's largest law firm, it blends the scale of a large firm with a client-centred approach. The firm continues to strive for excellence, guided by its vision to be an outstanding regional firm with national reach, ensuring clients receive tailored, practical support for all their legal needs.
