RPC and auticon launch neuroinclusive leadership programme

RPC and auticon have unveiled a groundbreaking CPD-accredited programme designed to enhance neuroinclusion in workplaces
RPC has joined forces with global consultancy auticon to introduce the pioneering Neuroinclusive Leadership programme. This first-of-its-kind, CPD-accredited initiative is tailored specifically for senior leaders aiming to foster organisational capability and confidence regarding neuroinclusion. With around one in five people being neurodivergent—encompassing conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia—the programme addresses vital issues surrounding disability discrimination, which has become one of the fastest-growing areas of employment litigation.
The Neuroinclusive Leadership programme directly responds to the increasing awareness surrounding neurodiversity and its implications for workplace culture, governance, and legal compliance. Designed for senior leaders and people managers, this masterclass equips participants with essential knowledge regarding their legal responsibilities, enabling them to navigate reasonable adjustments and make informed decisions that support effective, inclusive leadership. Furthermore, the programme highlights the significant organisational, financial, and human costs of neglecting neuroinclusion, helping leaders prevent potential issues from escalating into formal disputes that may be costly and psychologically damaging.
By merging practical employment and equality law insights with neuroinclusion expertise grounded in professional practice, psychological theory, and lived experience, the programme builds a leadership capability that fosters the implementation of meaningful neuroinclusive practices. This approach ensures that more employees can excel, thereby providing organisations with a stronger return on investment in their workforce.
The Neuroinclusive Leadership masterclass, delivered jointly by RPC and auticon, helps senior leaders grasp their obligations under the Equality Act 2010. It also aids in recognising how organisational culture and communication impact inclusion, enabling the development of practical approaches to create legally compliant and genuinely inclusive workplaces that enhance overall performance.
Kelly Thomson, Partner and ESG Strategy Lead at RPC, expressed, "Neuroinclusion is about more than the law – it's also about culture and leadership. Neuroinclusive Leadership helps leaders turn good intentions into everyday practice; so they meet their obligations, make better decisions, and ultimately build workplaces where more people can do their best work." Furthermore, Rachel Pears, RPC's Associate Director – Responsible Business & Employment Counsel, added, "Neuroinclusion is a hallmark of modern leadership. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience as a majority-autistic organisation, auticon has developed, tested, and embedded neuroinclusive practices that help leaders create workplaces where neurodivergent people can thrive. This masterclass combines auticon's practical expertise with RPC's legal insight, equipping leaders with the confidence, knowledge, and tools to bridge compliance, culture, and inclusive leadership."
