Rock MS unveils mobile case management app

Rock Management Services has launched a mobile app to enhance case management for legal professionals on the go
Rock Management Services (Rock MS) has today launched The Bedrock Case Management Mobile App – providing the legal industry with administrative support on the move. Launched through Rock MS’ Bedrock Software (Bedrock) arm, the new mobile app provides solicitors with secure, real-time access to their case loads along with all the administrative tools required to remain in control, organised and responsive, no matter where the job takes them – the office, court or the police station. Available in both Apple App and Google Play Stores, the Bedrock app has been designed to complement the way in which a modern legal professional works.
Designed with simplicity in mind, it brings together essential case management functionality in a clean and intuitive dashboard interface. Functions include the ability to create attendance and telephone notes; record calls; access emails with the possibility of viewing, filtering, searching, moving and saving; upload documents and attachments; and access the planner and calendar. The app also enjoys access to performance information including time and billing widgets, as well as access to Police Station Live (Beta) to coordinate between multiple solicitors during the same visit.
Judy Matthews, Managing Director at Rock MS, comments that “built to support the way modern law firms work, the app brings key case management functionality into one secure, easy-to-use platform, helping legal professionals access matters on the move, reduce duplication, and work more efficiently - whilst away from their desk." She adds that this launch reflects "our ongoing commitment to developing practical, user-focused solutions that help firms manage clients, matters, accounts, compliance, and HR all in one place." Matthews thanks “our Software Development Lead Adam Makepeace and the team for their hard work and dedication in bringing this exciting launch to life.”
Launched in 2023, Rock MS provides quality-assured business support to organisations wanting to remain lean and focused on their core values, including HR, IT, finance, practice management, and compliance. In addition, Rock MS provides business consulting advice in relation to future strategies and technologies.
Software Development Lead, Adam Makepeace, adds that “this is an exciting time for us all at Rock MS. Launching the Bedrock phone app for both Android and Apple devices is a milestone in how we can help support our clients. We have delivered a range of functions that align directly with the workflows in the main software.” Makepeace explains that “attendance notes, adding documents to matters, saving emails and attachments to files are all now easy to do directly from a hand-held device.” He emphasises that “reviewing, editing and updating tasks and appointments, including appointments in shared calendars can also be done from the app - bringing particular benefits for people needing to collaborate in real time when dealing with busy court or police station environments."
