Reed Smith appoints Chief Innovation Officer

David Cunningham brings over 30 years' experience to the newly created role
Reed Smith has appointed David Cunningham as Chief Innovation Officer, a newly created role at the firm. Cunningham joins the firm’s Houston office from Winston & Strawn. He will continue as CEO of Legal Metrics, a tech-driven consortium automating next-gen performance and diversity analytics between law firms and legal departments. Global managing partner, Sandy Thomas, said Cunningham is “a champion of innovation”, and the firm is “thrilled to have him lead us into the next iteration of Reed Smith’s commitment to innovation and client value”.
