The London office of Washington DC firm Hogan & Hartson has hired two lawyers from US rival LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae. Garry Pegg co-managing partner of LeBoeuf's London office and counsel Hywel Jones will join Hogan & Hartson as partners.

Weil Gotshal & Manges has hired Latham & Watkins finance partner Chris Harrison. Harrison will focus on senior mezzanine and bridge financing in the area of acquisition finance.

The City Disputes Panel has appointed Karl Davies as chief operating officer. His appointment will make use of his extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution while at Barclays.

Career management and outplacement specialist Methven has appointed Gary Newborough as its business manager for southern England. Newborough joins Methven from Thanet Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he was chief executive for the past two years.

 

FileNET has appointed Royce Murphy as senior vice president for Europe Middle East and Africa. Murphy will be responsible for providing executive focus strategy and direction for all sales customer services and related activities.
