Muckle LLP expands presence in Teesside

Muckle LLP has established a permanent office in Stockton, enhancing its commitment to Teesside business community
Muckle LLP, a leading law firm dedicated to businesses, has significantly expanded its footprint in Teesside with the establishment of a new office in Stockton's Boaz House. This move comes as part of the firm's recruitment drive and represents a strong commitment to the region, signaling a new phase in Muckle's long-standing presence in Teesside. The decision to secure permanent premises aims to foster closer relationships with clients and business partners, driven by an increasing demand for legal services across the region.
The new office will be led by a team of specialists including partner and head of private client Leah Duffield, real estate partner Rachel List, and corporate partner Oliver Hebdon. They are joined by Teesside locals—real estate associate Samantha Alderton, private client paralegal Jack Reynolds, PA and officer coordinator Claire Rance, and solicitor apprentice Cassie Woodier. Leah Duffield expressed her enthusiasm, stating ‘Muckle already has a proud history of working with high-profile businesses in Teesside, but the investment in our new Stockton office is our biggest commitment yet. Our new Stockton base brings us even closer to the businesses driving Teesside’s economic growth and the great organisations and individuals we work with. I’m so excited to be able to offer them such a range of legal support right on their doorstep.’
The firm’s track record includes collaborations with notable entities such as Teesside International Airport and Tekmar Energy. Furthermore, Muckle has established strong ties with the Tees Valley Combined Authority, securing a place on the legal panel for the £20m Teesside Flexible Investment Fund, aimed at bolstering economic development across key areas.
Muckle's expansion reflects its enduring dedication to the local community, especially as a B Corp-accredited firm prioritising purpose alongside profit. The firm has actively engaged with charities including Clean Slate Solutions, providing them with financial support and pro bono legal services. Managing partner Anthony Evans remarked, “We are delighted to have a new permanent base in Stockton for our Teesside team. We have worked with fantastic businesses and organisations in Teesside for some time, so having the opportunity to invest in the region and grow our new team is an exciting prospect for us.” This expansion represents not just a physical move, but a robust commitment to leveraging business as a means to encourage good in the Teesside area.
