Magara Law secures top employment award

Magara Law has been recognised as the UK’s top employment law firm after an outstanding client rating
In a remarkable achievement for Magara Law, the Oxfordshire-based employment law firm has been named the number one employment law firm in the UK by ReviewSolicitors. This ranking comes after the firm achieved a perfect 5.0 rating based on nearly 600 client reviews. Significantly, Magara Law outperformed 3,626 other firms that are listed for employment law on the ReviewSolicitors platform, highlighting its exceptional client service and dedication to client care.
The accolade follows further national success for Magara Law at the 2026 Modern Law Awards, where they won the coveted Employment Law Team of the Year award. Additionally, the firm received a highly commended recognition in the Client Care category for firms with up to 100 employees. Solicitor Shahrzad Seifi was also honoured with a special commendation in the Female Trailblazer category, emphasising the firm's commitment to excellence and innovation in legal services.
Roy Magara, Solicitor Advocate and founder of Magara Law, expressed the significance of this recognition, stating “What makes this so special for the firm is that recognition like this comes from the people we have helped through some of the most difficult moments in their working lives and careers.” He further added, “To be recognised as the number one employment law firm in the country through client feedback is an incredible achievement for us.”
Roy also reflected on the firm's journey, noting, “When we first reached the top three a few years ago, it reinforced that if we wanted to reach number one, client care had to remain at the centre of every decision we made as a firm and the way we approached clients.” This philosophy has enabled Magara Law to advise both individuals and businesses on a wide range of employment law matters, such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, and workplace disputes.
The firm also offers workplace mediation services following Roy's qualification as an accredited workplace mediator, aiming to resolve conflicts before they escalate to tribunal. “We are a small but mighty team compared to some of the much bigger firms, so to now be recognised as number one out of over 3,600 firms shows what can be achieved when you stay consistent in the way you support clients,” Roy noted.
He acknowledged the team’s vital role, stating, “A huge amount of the credit goes to the team because they are the people carrying the responsibility of supporting clients through difficult and often very personal situations day to day.” As Magara Law celebrates this prestigious recognition, Roy emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards moving forward, remarking, “Reaching number one is a huge moment for the firm, but maintaining the standards that got us there matters just as much.”
