Mackenzie Jones hires respected family solicitor

Mackenzie Jones, a leading legal practice in North Wales, has made a significant stride in its family law services with the addition of Rachel Wynn Jones, one of the region’s most respected solicitors in this field.
This strategic move underlines the firm's commitment to expanding its divorce and matrimonial finance department in response to a growing demand for these essential services across North Wales and Chester.
Rachel brings with her over 30 years of specialist experience in family law, having dedicated her career to assisting clients through complex divorce and family matters. She has cultivated a particular expertise in supporting agricultural communities, making her a valuable asset to the Mackenzie Jones team, where she will work alongside founding director Richard Jones and solicitor Jade Liptrot.
In her own words, Rachel stated, “I’ve specialised in divorce throughout my career, often supporting families in rural and farming communities. It’s always been about guiding people through what can be one of the most challenging times of their lives, with dignity and a common-sense approach.” She emphasised the importance of providing “clear, compassionate advice” as the legal landscape evolves, notably with changes such as the introduction of the no-fault divorce.
Richard Jones expressed enthusiasm about her hiring, stating, “Rachel is well respected and the perfect fit for our team. She’s an outstanding solicitor and already attracting new clients. What’s been especially heartening is hearing how quickly she’s felt at home here.” The welcoming environment and familiarity of colleagues have made Rachel’s transition seamless, as she noted that “everyone has been so welcoming and there are many faces I already knew from across the courtroom.”
Fellow director Anna Mills Morgan reinforced this sentiment by commenting, “Rachel is an incredible addition to Mackenzie Jones. Her experience and reputation make her a huge asset to our company.” The firm is also expanding its team with the recent recruitment of Adam Hazell, Rebekah Woods, and Elen Roberts, while promoting Matthew Skeels and Hannah Oakes to director roles.
With its offices situated in St Asaph, Chester, and Menai Bridge, Mackenzie Jones has been dedicated to serving communities across North Wales and Cheshire for over 25 years. The firm remains focused on delivering excellent service, firmly placing people and compassion at the centre of their practice in areas such as matrimonial finance, commercial law, clinical negligence, and private client work.
