Leadership shifts at Payne Hicks Beach

Payne Hicks Beach has announced significant leadership changes aimed at sustaining growth and ensuring stability within the firm
Payne Hicks Beach has unveiled a series of leadership changes that signal a blend of continuity and a focus on sustained growth. As of 1 June 2026, Robert Brodrick will conclude his transformative seven-year tenure as Chair of the Management Board. Over these years, Robert has played a pivotal role, modernising the firm's governance and steering it toward record financial achievements. Post-transition, he will remain an active Partner in the Private Client team, where he plans to further develop his acclaimed international practice.
Lucas Moore, previously a Partner in Commercial Disputes, will step up as the new Chair. Taking on this leadership role during an exciting phase for the firm, Lucas aims to build on its existing momentum, with particular attention to strategic direction and enhancing relationships with international and corporate clients. His experience on the Management Board since 2024 positions him uniquely to contribute to this agenda.
The firm is also thrilled to announce Freddie Bjorn’s appointment to the Management Board. Freddie, a Partner in Private Client, brings over 16 years of experience with the firm and is highly regarded for his expertise with entrepreneurs and internationally mobile clients. His addition emphasises the firm’s commitment to innovation and strategic development, providing insightful perspectives on navigating an increasingly global and technologically connected landscape.
In a move to ensure stability, Kathryn Bradbury has renewed her tenure on the Management Board. Kathryn, alongside Freddie, will assume the title of Managing Partner, reinforcing ongoing stability and leadership within the firm. These leadership changes represent a significant milestone in Payne Hicks Beach’s continuous evolution, effectively combining established leadership continuity with fresh perspectives that aim to advance the firm’s long-term ambitions.
