Knights enhances Bristol Private Client team

Knights has fortified its Private Client team in Bristol by bringing Nerys Thomas on board as a Partner. With a comprehensive background in Private Client law, Nerys possesses a decade of post-qualification experience and is well-versed in various aspects including tax, trusts, and succession planning. Her career has spanned Bristol, Cardiff, and the West Midlands, granting her a strong track record in managing complex wealth structuring and long-term planning for clients.

Nerys’ expertise covers lifetime planning, complex will preparation, and inheritance tax mitigation, specifically tailored for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Additionally, she is skilled in the creation and administration of English trusts, providing guidance to trustees on their fiduciary duties, powers, and the process of trust terminations, as well as managing complex, high-value estates.

Her appointment arrives shortly after that of fellow Private Client Partner, Daniel Harris, and Family Partner, Hannah Livesy, further enriching Knights' premium Private Client Services across the region. The positive momentum in Bristol aligns with the firm’s strong overall performance, highlighted by a recent update revealing an anticipated year-on-year revenue increase of 28%, reaching £207 million, with profits rising 18% to £33 million.
