Inquiry launched into the impact of environmental regulations on development

Built Environment Committee issues call for written submissions
The Built Environment Committee has launched a new inquiry into the impact of the UK government’s environmental regulations on development of the built environment. The Committee is looking to assess, amongst other things, the governance of nationally defined environmental regulations, the associated costs for developers and promoters, and the impact of the relevant primary and secondary legislation on the delivery of development projects. The closing date for written submissions to the inquiry is 31 March 2023.
