Harneys has appointed Irina Stoliarova as partner in its Luxembourg office to strengthen its Funds & Asset Management practice
Harneys has bolstered its Funds & Asset Management practice by welcoming Irina Stoliarova as a partner in its Luxembourg office. Irina advises asset managers, fund initiators, and institutional investors on the structuring, formation, and regulation of Luxembourg investment funds, focusing on AIFs and UCITS. Her expertise encompasses private debt, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity investment strategies, and she provides guidance on ESG matters, fund governance, restructurings, and liquidations throughout the fund lifecycle.
Before joining Harneys, Irina held senior positions in fund formation and regulatory practices at leading international and Luxembourg law firms, alongside experience at a major Luxembourg bank. Charl Brand, Luxembourg Managing Partner at Harneys, commented "We are delighted to welcome Irina to Harneys. Her combination of fund and regulatory experience, gained in both private practice and banking, gives her a real understanding of the commercial realities our clients face. Irina's appointment reflects our continued investment in the depth of expertise we bring to our clients, ensuring we deliver exceptional, practical advice."
Irina's hiring follows the recent appointment of Paul Chiellini-Morge as a partner in the Luxembourg Corporate team, further enhancing the firm's transactional capability in Luxembourg. The Funds & Asset Management team at Harneys advises on all aspects of a Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, or BVI fund's lifecycle, including formation, restructuring, and closure in both distressed and planned scenarios. Additionally, Harneys has established a dedicated Regulatory practice that provides vital legal support to its regulated clients.
