Glaisyers ETL advises global parent group on latest acquisition
Fiander Tovell has joined ETL Global's network
Manchester-based ETL Global UK has purchased a 51 per cent holding in Southampton accountancy firm, Fiander Tovell.
The corporate and commercial teams from Manchester and London law firm Glaisyers ETL, itself part of the ETL Global UK network, advised its global parent group on the acquisition.
Fiander Tovell was established in 1976, and provides accountancy, audit, tax and corporate advisory services to a range of businesses and regulated organisations, including professional firms, schools and charities.
Following the deal, Fiander Tovell will join ETL Global UK’s global network of firms, which together employ more than 13,000 professionals in over 50 countries worldwide. However, it will remain operationally independent under the leadership of existing directors Andy Jay, Paul Meacher and Cathy Revis.
Glaisyers ETL partner and head of corporate William Pinnock led the Glaisyers ETL team. Pinnock said: “It is always a pleasure to work with our ETL partners on transactions that help to grow the network.

ETL Global was founded more than 45 years ago and has its international headquarters in Essen, Germany. Member firms are able to provide their clients with access to the group’s global network of professionals, as well as benefitting from commercial partnerships with other ETL firms worldwide.
Fiander Tovell is the fourteenth UK accountancy practice to join the ETL Global network. ETL Global’s network in the UK includes law firms Glaisyers ETL and Laytons ETL, as well as a HR consultancy, a recruitment business and a managed IT services provider.
