Dechert's advice supports DPE's acquisition

Dechert has guided Deutsche Private Equity in acquiring a majority stake in to facilitate growth initiatives and market expansion.
In an important move within the German-speaking private equity landscape, Dechert advised Deutsche Private Equity (DPE) on its recent acquisition of a majority stake in NTA Group. DPE, known for its investment strategies in sectors such as Business Services, Energy & Environment, Healthcare, Industrial Technology, and Software & IT Services, is set to bolster NTA Group's growth and expansion plans. The investment aims to support NTA Group’s continued organic growth while enhancing its service portfolio, particularly in service, maintenance, and managed services offerings.
DPE's strategic focus will allow NTA Group to strengthen its market presence in the DACH region, with plans to explore additional growth opportunities in selected European markets as they arise. NTA Group, headquartered in Mainz, offers a wide range of integrated security, communication technology, and IT infrastructure solutions. Their services include fire-detection systems, intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, alarm management, and IT solutions, generating over €60 million in revenue with a workforce of around 360 employees across nine locations in Germany and Luxembourg.
The team at Dechert that provided strategic guidance to DPE in this significant acquisition was led by corporate partner Dominik Stühler, alongside counsel Tobias Hugo, with valuable contributions from associates Adriana Worms, Alexa Serafin, and Georg Littmann. Their collective expertise has been integral to facilitating DPE’s investment aimed at supporting NTA Group’s ambitious future goals.
