Constantine Law expands with senior partner

Constantine Law welcomes Anita Vadgama as senior partner, boosting its employment team to 13 specialists
Constantine Law has announced the recruitment of Anita Vadgama, the former Head of Litigation at didlaw, as a new senior partner in its growing employment team. Anita expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m delighted to be joining Constantine Law at such an exciting point in its growth. The firm has built a strong reputation for excellence in employment and regulatory law, and I was particularly drawn to its consultant-led model, collaborative culture and clear ambition. I’m looking forward to working with the team and supporting clients on complex, high stakes matters.”
Vagia’s addition brings the total number of partners at Constantine Law to 21, with 13 specialising in employment law. Her appointment follows those of James Baker, who previously headed employment at Lee & Thompson, and Julie Goodway, a partner at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors, both of whom joined in April 2026.
Recognised by Chambers and Partners for her expertise, Anita is particularly noted as “an expert in discrimination” and has substantial experience with mental health-related cases. Besides directly advising senior executives, including C-suite employees, she has built a strong reputation for her work on complex employment disputes and regulatory issues. In her prolific career, Anita has gained landmark tribunal successes, including a £2.5 million discrimination award in 2021.
Her background comprises a decade at Thompsons and seven years working in the US as a dual-qualified attorney at Littler Mendelson. Following her time at didlaw, where she became partner and Head of Litigation, Anita has established herself as a key advisor on issues concerning discrimination, whistleblowing claims, and employment topics related to Permanent Health Insurance benefits.
Commenting on the strategic hire, John Hayes, Managing Partner at Constantine Law, remarked, “We welcome Anita to Constantine Law. Her specialist knowledge in the world of discrimination and disability brings added depth to our growing employment team. She also complements our expertise in advising senior executives and bringing whistleblowing claims.”
Constantine Law's accelerated expansion is evident, having added five new partners in 2025 and recently launching a new Business Immigration practice. Hayes further noted the firm’s appeal, stating, “Anita’s appointment illustrates both our growing reputation and the attraction for entrepreneurial lawyers to work for a progressive, collegiate firm like ours without the fixed costs and targets of many firms. Constantine Law rewards success, whilst providing the broader support of being part of a wider team.”
