Clough & Willis promotes Ryan Browne to partner

Bury and Bolton law firm Clough & Willis has appointed Ryan Browne as partner in its Private Client team, recognising his exceptional contributions and strong client relationships
Ryan joined the firm in 2022, initially as a solicitor, and was promoted to senior associate in 2024 due to his technical expertise and significant role in developing the firm’s Private Client services.
Before his time at Clough & Willis, Ryan worked at a Manchester firm for five years, focusing on Estate Administration matters. Adding to his extensive knowledge, Ryan advises on various Private Client issues such as drafting Wills, administering estates, submitting Grant Applications, handling Inheritance Tax Returns, and managing Deputyships and Lasting Powers of Attorney. His new role as partner will see him take on more strategic responsibilities while continuing to provide exceptional support to clients throughout the region.
“I’m incredibly proud to become a partner at Clough & Willis. Since arriving at the firm, I’ve been supported in a meaningful way which has developed my skill set and experience," Ryan expressed. He noted that the firm’s dedication to its clients and community resonated deeply with his values, indicating that his promotion feels like a logical and exciting progression.
Nicola Finbow, Head of the Private Client team, praised Ryan’s appointment, stating, “His technical ability, client-focused approach and dedication to delivering high quality advice have made a real impact on both his direct team and the wider firm." She expressed confidence that Ryan will continue to play a crucial role in the future of their Private Client offerings.
