Birketts advises AmWorld on acquisition

Birketts has announced its advisory role to AmWorld UK Limited in the successful acquisition of Crossflight Group Holdings Limited, which operates under the names Crossflight and Adstral. This strategic acquisition aligns with AmWorld's growth strategy, especially following Foresight Group’s recent investment in the business earlier in 2023. Both Crossflight and Adstral are recognised players in the fulfilment and logistics sector, and their merger with AmWorld promises to strengthen the company’s market offerings.

The Birketts corporate team that led this transaction was spearheaded by Ed Savory, with crucial support from Adam Jones, Alex Price, Macauley Alsford-White, Harry Close and Olivia Sherman. Comprehensive assistance also came from the commercial real estate team, comprising Matt Grindley, Jennifer Bubbra, Jamie Coulthard, and Charles Thackeray. Additional support was provided by Georgia Hunt (employment), Kirsty Scripps (employee incentives), Robbie Watson (tax), and Tom Berisford (banking and finance).

Birketts has a proven track record with Foresight Group, having previously advised them on their investment in AmWorld Holdings Limited, and has remained actively involved as the group pursues its strategic objectives.
