An Acas survey has found only 22 per cent of employers plan to introduce a no jab no job policy. Acas commissioned YouGov to ask businesses about whether they planned to insist on covid-19 vaccinations as a condition of employment. Acas chief executive, Susan Clews, said it was “a very tricky area of employment law” and recommended employers support staff rather than insist on vaccination. She also said it was “a good idea” for employers to get legal advice before bringing in a vaccine policy.
