Solicitors in Ireland are now being required to collect the details of their clients for track and trace purposes under a new practice direction. It applies to 'the solicitor on record for any party to an application or proceeding the subject matter of a corporeal hearing' in the Circuit Court or the High Court. Irish solicitors are already required to collect contact details from anyone attending their offices under public health guidelines. 1 September 2020
