Taylor Wessing expands financial services team

Taylor Wessing, a leading international law firm, has announced the appointment of Martin Dowdall as a new partner within its London-based Financial Services Regulatory group. Dowdall joins from a prominent US law firm, bringing extensive experience in UK and EU financial services regulation. This strategic hire is expected to strengthen the firm’s capability in advising both UK and international clients on complex regulatory issues, with a particular focus on fintech, payments, and cryptocurrency.

Tandeep Minhas, Head of Taylor Wessing’s UK Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Markets team, expressed enthusiasm about Dowdall’s arrival, citing his proven ability to deliver high-quality regulatory advice to firms operating in emerging technologies. “Martin will enhance the breadth and depth of our market-leading fintech practice in the City and internationally,” Minhas stated.
