Shepherd and Wedderburn announces new promotions

Shepherd and Wedderburn promotes five to Partner and two to Legal Director across various practices
Scotland-based law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has revealed the promotion of five individuals to Partner and two to Legal Director. The new Partners include Matt Lamberton and Gillian Wood in Commercial Real Estate, Cath Macrae in Corporate, Katie McNab in Rural Property, and Laura McMillan in Commercial Disputes. Meanwhile, Siobhan Dunphy and Joseph Fitzgibbon were promoted to Legal Director, focusing on Commercial Real Estate and Media and Technology, respectively.
In a significant internal change, today also marks the beginning of Andy Hall’s tenure as the new Managing Partner. Hall has a long history with the firm, commencing his career as a trainee solicitor in 1993 and becoming a partner by 2003. He has been at the helm of the firm’s Property and Infrastructure group since 2013. Expressing his enthusiasm for the recent promotions, Andy said “This latest round of promotions demonstrates the exceptional talent across the firm, and I would like to congratulate my colleagues on their well-deserved promotions and wish them well for the future.
