Prominent lawyer joins Charles Russell Speechlys

Charles Russell Speechlys has appointed Nadim Meer as Partner in the Corporate team, enhancing its capabilities in private equity and corporate transactions

Nadim joins from Mishcon de Reya, where he was Corporate Partner and Head of Private Equity, and brings extensive experience advising on buyouts, growth capital investments, and strategic transactions. His expertise spans both UK and cross-border transactions, particularly in the business services, technology, and consumer sectors.

David Collins, Partner responsible for the Firm’s Business Advisory & Transaction Services Division, expressed confidence in Nadim’s abilities, saying, “Nadim is a terrific addition to our Corporate team and has a compelling track record in private equity, fundraising and strategic M&A.” He added that Nadim's experience supporting corporate clients and non-institutional investors aligns well with the Firm’s focus on private capital.

In addition to his corporate practice, Nadim serves on the Advisory Board of KERB+, a social enterprise dedicated to making a positive social impact through street food. He has a keen interest in purpose-driven businesses and sustainability, having previously supported clients navigating these important issues during his tenure at Mishcon.

Nadim expressed enthusiasm for joining Charles Russell Speechlys, stating, “The Firm has a distinctive position in private capital and a clear strategy for growth. I’m excited to be joining a Firm with such a strong alignment with the needs of my clients and such a compelling and ambitious vision for its corporate team.” His appointment comes on the heels of several key hires within the Firm's transactional and advisory landscape, including partners in funds, real estate, and corporate tax in late 2025.
