Fieldfisher assists Powy to expand network with new acquisition

Powy has acquired RAW Charging Network, adding 138 electric charging points across five major outlets
Powy, a company that owns, develops, and manages the leading independent Italian public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, has announced its first acquisition in Italy: the 100% stake in RAW Charging Network (Italia) S.r.l. This acquisition marks a new phase for Powy, which aims to accelerate the expansion of its network by complementing organic growth with selective external opportunities. Powy now becomes the sole owner and operator of charging stations in five key Italian outlets of McArthurGlen and Promos.
In this operation, Powy was assisted by Fieldfisher for legal, tax, and privacy matters, with a team led by Partner Fabio Giuffrè, which included Giorgia Mulinacci for corporate/M&A profiles, Paola La Notte for privacy aspects, Federica Santini as Director, and Ludovica Pasquali for tax profiles. The accounting aspects were managed by Studio Peyron. RAW Charging Network Limited received assistance from Forvis Mazars, with Partner Andrea Gambardella and Lawyer Laura Serra handling legal aspects, while Partner Giovanni Crenna and Tax Advisory Manager Gherardo Bertelli Sguotti dealt with tax matters.
With this acquisition, Powy becomes the owner and manager of 136 already operational charging points, plus two new DC points installed alongside the operation, resulting in a total of 138 points distributed across five locations: Serravalle Designer Outlet in Piedmont, Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet in Veneto, Castel Romano Designer Outlet in Lazio, and La Reggia Designer Outlet in Campania (all McArthurGlen), as well as Barberino Designer Outlet in Tuscany (Promos). Powy will completely replace the existing charging stations with its standards and will implement Dynamic Load Management (DLM) for advanced and optimised power management among the charging points.
The five locations collectively attract over 20 million visitors each year. The charging stations at these outlets recorded approximately 29,000 charging sessions in 2025, contributing to a reduction of over 334 tonnes of CO₂ within a year, confirming these destinations as ideal contexts for high-quality public charging.
