Swindon-based solicitor Mike Pulsford has been struck off after being jailed for sex offences against six children while he was volunteering at a church group. Pulsford received a sentence of eight years and eight months for the crimes last year. He had been working for Chippenham firm Jeary and Lewis and was admitted to the roll in 1980. The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal said: 'Public confidence in the profession and the reputation of the profession required no lesser sanction than that [Pulsford] be removed from the roll.' 19 September 2020
