The new SRA handbook '“ real name: SRA Standards and Regulations '“ will come into effect on 25 November 2019, the SRA has announced. The new rules will be contained in two codes: one for solicitors and one for firms. They will allow solicitors to provide non-reserved services from within non SRA-regulated organisations and retain their title instead of become 'non-practising'. Solicitors will also be allowed to offer their services in respect of reserved activities on a freelance basis. 20 March 2019
