National Crime Agency launches joint international crime centre
The new unit will lead the work on international crime
The UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) announced the launch of the new joint international crime centre on 3 April, which will lead the response of UK policing and law enforcement to international crime. The new centre will combine the capabilities of the NCA’s international crime bureau and policing’s international crime coordination centre. The new joint centre will include approximately 300 officers and will be overseen by the NCA and the National Police Chiefs’ Council.
