In a strategic move, MSB Solicitors has appointed Scott Turner-Percy as Head of Business Crime, a position that will significantly boost the firm's capabilities in handling complex fraud, financial crime, corporate investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters. With over a decade of experience, Turner-Percy has successfully advised corporations, financial institutions, senior executives, and high-net-worth individuals on serious financial crime and compliance issues. His extensive practice includes business crime defence, asset recovery, and cross-border investigations, positioning him as a highly sought-after expert in the legal field.
Throughout his career, Scott has been involved in some of the UK's most impactful fraud and financial crime cases, managing prosecutions and investigations that have involved allegations amounting to hundreds of millions of pounds. In his new capacity, Scott aims to drive the growth of MSB's Business Crime and Investigations practice, effectively supporting businesses, directors, and individuals facing allegations of fraud and financial misconduct. The practice now covers a wide spectrum of issues, such as money laundering investigations, Account Freezing Orders, and emerging financial crime trends. Turner-Percy expressed his enthusiasm about the role, stating, "I am delighted to be joining MSB at an exciting stage in the firm's growth and development. Businesses and senior decision-makers are operating in an increasingly complex regulatory and enforcement environment." He further noted the importance of strategic guidance in today’s challenging landscape, emphasising that "my focus is on helping organisations and individuals respond confidently to allegations of fraud, financial crime and regulatory misconduct."
