Liverpool John Moores wins law award
Liverpool John Moores University has achieved significant recognition by being named Law School of the Year at the recent Educate North Awards ceremony held in Manchester
This event celebrates excellence across various educational sectors within the North of England. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Power, expressed pride in this achievement and highlighted the school's dedication to student success and community service. He remarked: “We are so proud to have won the Law School of the Year award for LJMU’s School of Law and Justice Studies. The school is exemplary in our collective commitment to student success, public service and making a difference within our community."
In addition to this accolade, LJMU was nominated for two other awards at the ceremony, acknowledging its diverse leadership and inclusion initiatives. This recent award adds to the university's impressive track record, which includes winning the 2025 Queen Elizabeth Prize and multiple Times Higher Education Awards. Celebrating a commitment to academic excellence, LJMU continues to make impactful contributions to both local and global communities, elevating over 25,000 students annually while emphasising diversity and innovation in education
