Life Courier Group takes refinancing advice

Complex cross border refinancing contract successfully concluded

Watson Farley & Williams („WFW“) advised Life Courier Group on its refinancing by a syndicate of banks comprising Norddeutsche Landesbank, also acting as agent, Raiffeisen-Landesbank Niederösterreich-Wien and BlackRock Funds.

The Life Courier Group consists of logistics service providers specialised in the life science and healthcare sector across Germany, Italy, Romania, Sweden, the Czech Republic and the United States. It is a portfolio company of Auctus Capital Partners AG (“Auctus”), an investment company with €800m+ AUM.

The WFW Germany Project & Structured Finance team advising the Life Courier Group was led by Hamburg Partner Dr Stefan Kilgus, supported by Senior Associate Dr Marlene Kowerk and Transaction Lawyer Annika Schulz. Frankfurt Partner Florian Kutzbach and Senior Associate Alejandra Hagedorn advised on the English law aspects of the transaction. Christopher J. Verstrate of McGuire Woods supported the team on US law matters.
