Legal profession third most stressful

'It's often how a person deals with stress, as much as the work itself, that is important' – chief scientific officer
Research by London Medical Laboratory has identified legal professionals as having the third most stressful career in a list of most demanding roles (excluding armed and emergency services). Researchers interviewed participants, took blood tests and analysed data relating to heart problems and mental health research. Chief scientific officer, Dr Quinton Fivelman PhD, said: “Some people seem to thrive on adrenaline, whereas others suffer work-related stress from jobs that appear relatively undemanding”. Others on the list included welfare professionals, those working in customer services, teachers, librarians, recruitment consultants and GPs and health professionals.
