Law Society interim CEO

Gerry Walsh will take on the role

Gerry Walsh has been appointed as Law Society interim chief executive officer (CEO). Walsh was previously interim CEO of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and has worked in infrastructure, including a key role in delivery of the 2012 Olympics. Walsh will lead the Law Society until a permanent CEO is appointed. Law Society president, I. Stephanie Boyce, said Walsh “brings a wealth of experience” to the Society and “will help maintain continuity and momentum during an important time for the solicitor’s profession”.
