Law Society deputy vice president announced

Emmerson will become vice president and president in due course

Nick Emmerson, partner and head of capital markets at Lewis Mathys Emmerson, will take office as deputy vice president of the Law Society on 14 October 2021, becoming vice president in 2022 and president in 2023. Emmerson said it was “a great honour” to be elected. Emmerson has spent much of his career working in Asia and is fluent in Japanese. He is qualified to practise in England and Wales, the Republic of Ireland, the State of California and Hong Kong.
