Latham & Watkins crowned Tour de Law 2026 champions – annual legal sector cycle raises £160k for Breast Cancer Now

On 14 and 15 October, a record number of barristers’ chambers and law firms across the country took part in Tour de Law, collectively raising over £160,780 for the UK’s leading breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now, with Latham & Watkins claiming the title of Tour de Law 2026 champions
Cycling a virtual route from the Royal Courts of Justice in London to the Court of Session in Edinburgh, participants at 22 law firms and chambers pedalled an incredible 14,686.49 kilometres over the two-day challenge, raising vital funds for breast cancer research and support, and surpassing Breast Cancer Now’s fundraising target of £150,000.
Latham & Watkins LLP earned the title as this year’s champions by cycling an incredible 887.64 km and raising £29,502. However, they faced fierce competition from Northridge, who cycled the furthest at 912.03km, and Kirkland & Ellis, who raised the most – a staggering £33,138.
Since its inception in 2012, Tour de Law has raised over £1.75 million for Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving research and life-changing support, with every pound bringing the charity closer to its bold vision that by 2050 everyone with breast cancer will live and live well.
£160,000 funds around 18 months of lab-based research, including salaries, equipment and everything else needed to tackle some of the biggest challenges in breast cancer.
