Knights boosts Leeds team with corporate, commercial, employment, and competition law specialists amid national expansion

Knights, the rapidly expanding professional services business, has augmented its Leeds team with the addition of four prominent lawyers, showcasing its commitment to continued growth. Corporate partner Amy Woodfine and commercial partner Tori Lethaby, previously of DWF and DLA, respectively, join the team based at Majestic in the city centre. The new recruits further include employment lawyer Ian Abel and competition law specialist Ellen Huison, reinforcing Knights' comprehensive legal expertise.

Amy Woodfine, with over 15 years of experience, specializes in corporate transactions, particularly in technology, digital, wealth management, and insurance broking markets. Tori Lethaby, boasting both private practice and in-house experience, focuses on data protection and privacy law, with a background as Commercial Counsel for a government-owned organization and head of legal and privacy for an automotive remarketing group.

The arrival of these seasoned lawyers aligns with Knights' strategic expansion across its 23 nationwide offices. Senior associate Ian Abel, known for his employment law expertise gained during his stint in-house for NEC Japan, adds further depth to the team. Competition law specialist Ellen Huison enhances the Leeds team's capabilities, covering all aspects of competition law.

Tori Lethaby expresses enthusiasm about joining Knights during an exciting growth phase, emphasizing the positive atmosphere. Amy Woodfine echoes this sentiment, expressing delight at being part of Knights' ambitious and forward-thinking legal business.

The four additions contribute to Knights' diverse range of legal expertise, solidifying its position as the fastest-growing and largest regional professional services business in the UK. Victoria Mortimer, client services director at Knights, anticipates further growth in Leeds, highlighting the valuable reputation and experience brought by the new arrivals.
