King & Spalding appoints Jade-Alexandra Fearns

King & Spalding has announced the appointment of Jade-Alexandra Fearns as an antitrust partner in London.
Jade-Alexandra Fearns has joined King & Spalding as a partner in the firm’s Government Matters and Regulation practice group, focusing primarily on antitrust and competition law. Based in London, Fearns brings a wealth of experience and expertise advising on various regulatory and compliance issues across multiple sectors including technology, pharmaceuticals, and financial services. Her practice also covers international sanctions, merger filings within the UK and EU, and foreign investment and national security-related filings.
“Jade is a highly experienced and trusted antitrust lawyer with immediate credibility and depth in merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) matters,” said Nikki Reeves, co-leader of the Government Matters and Regulation practice group. This move comes at a time when client demand for advanced UK and EU competition counsel is increasingly on the rise, especially regarding complex cross-border M&A, private equity, and investment matters.
Fearns joins the firm from Paul Hastings, where she served as a partner. She possesses an LPC from BPP University Law School, and she earned her M.A. from the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law.
“King & Spalding represents a brilliant opportunity for me to expand my practice and tap into the firm’s transactional, disputes and regulatory strengths,” Fearns added. With her joining the firm, King & Spalding is poised to enhance its competitive edge in the antitrust arena.
In an exciting week for the firm, Fearns is the second partner to come on board at the London office, following the recent addition of Raymond Fang, who is part of the Real Estate & Funds practice group. As King & Spalding continues to grow in London, the firm is well positioned to meet the evolving needs of its clients in a changing legal landscape.
