Kennedys strengthens corporate and commercial team

Kennedys has appointed two partners in London to enhance its corporate transactions and financial crime expertise
Kennedys, the global litigation and dispute resolution firm, is making significant strides in its corporate and commercial arm with the recent strategic hire of Lowri Jones and Will White as partners in London. This move aims to bolster the firm’s capabilities particularly in financial crime and corporate transactions.
With an impressive track record spanning over 20 years, Lowri Jones joins Kennedys from Cripps, where she excelled in advising insurance intermediaries alongside other regulated businesses on mergers and acquisitions, investments, and corporate advisory issues. “I am excited for what lies ahead,” she shared, highlighting her expertise in guiding clients through efficient deal processes, having successfully closed more than 100 transactions in the insurance and financial services sectors.
On the other hand, Will White is known for his proficiency in handling financial crime matters such as bribery, fraud, and money laundering. Prior to his appointment at Kennedys, he worked with DLA Piper, advising clients on a variety of compliance matters including whistleblowing protocols and modern slavery. “I was immediately attracted to Kennedys by its clear growth ambitions and excellent market reputation,” he stated. White's advisory work encompasses internal investigations and regulatory engagement, serving both UK and international clients across diverse sectors like financial services, entertainment, sport, and retail.
Andy Brown, global co-head of Kennedys’ corporate and commercial practice and UK divisional head, commented on the strategic significance of these appointments, stating, “The continued growth of our corporate and commercial practice is a strategic priority for the firm, and the arrival of Lowri and Will strengthens our capabilities in two important areas.” He emphasised how their expertise adds depth to the service offerings for global clients.
As Kennedys looks to 2026 and beyond, the firm is clearly positioned for expansion in its corporate and commercial practice, having already welcomed commercial disputes partner Samson Spanier earlier this year. The firm is honoured to be recognised in The Legal 500 2026 as offering a “stellar offering that can go toe-to-toe with any of the magic circle,” showcasing their contentious and non-contentious services across tax, financial crime, insolvency, commercial disputes, employment, real estate, and more.
With their new partners now on board, Kennedys is set to navigate the complexities of corporate advisory and financial crime matters, providing exceptional support to their global clientele.
