JUDGE HARASSED

Two litigants in person, Gary Hilson and Tracy McCarthy pursued a course of conduct amounting to harassment of Her Honour Judge Atkinson and were sentenced to 16 weeks' imprisonment. Their actions included sending an email to the judge's personal account, making it clear that they knew that her daughter went to a particular gym and sending her a birthday card that included: 'Keep up the good work stealing for profit. Don't drink too much raspberry gin and stagger back to Sarf London.' Their appeal to the High Court was dismissed ([2019] EWHC 1110 (Admin)). 29 May 2019
