Jacksons launches IP service for clients

The introduction of this service coincides with the anniversary of the UK’s first registered trade mark, Bass Brewery's Red Triangle. Charlotte Barugh, a CILEX lawyer and associate in the dispute resolution team at Jacksons, recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University with merit. This qualification equips her with advanced knowledge of trade marks, copyright, designs, and patents, enhancing her ability to advise clients effectively on both contentious and non-contentious matters in the growing field of IP law.

Charlotte expressed her enthusiasm about her new role, stating “IP is a growing and exciting area of law, and I'm looking forward to putting what I have learnt into practice.” Her work will not only focus on IP disputes but also on preventative measures to safeguard clients' interests.
