Irwin Mitchell: responsible business

Irwin Mitchell has appointed its first head of responsible business. Kate Fergusson joins from Pinsent Masons. Fergusson said she will build on the firm’s already “very strong” environmental, social and governance (ESG) position. Vicky Brackett, chief commercial officer, said: “As well as being the right thing to do, being a Responsible Business is something that our clients, colleagues and the wider community… [are] asking us to report on”. She added: “ESG has risen in prominence over the past couple of years, accelerated by the pandemic and the climate emergency”.
