Specialist family law partner returns to firm’s Sheffield office as ambitious growth plans continue
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has expanded its offering in the north with the appointment of specialist family law partner Anna Chenoweth.
Anna, who originally trained with Irwin Mitchell, joins from Hughes Fowler Carruthers, she advises in all aspects of family law arising from relationship breakdowns. She has particular experience in dealing with cases involving complex financial structures and businesses, overseas assets and trusts and she has considerable experience of working on cases involving international families and individuals.
Anna has a strong grounding in financial cases and has extensive experience in advising and drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and of matters involving jurisdictional disputes.
Irwin Mitchell was recently named in the top tier for family law firms by both the ePrivateClient and Legal 500 independent guides to law. The specialist team regularly brings complex financial separation cases to the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. The firm also recently appointed former BBC News presenter Joanna Gosling as a mediator and added Vandna Sharma, another family law Partner, to its Reading office.
