Hunton embraces Wexler for litigation improvement

US law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP has integrated Wexler, an AI-native fact intelligence platform, into its global litigation practice to support deposition processes, trial preparation, and early case assessments. The decision followed a thorough evaluation of available litigation technologies, leading the firm to adopt Wexler to assist attorneys in surfacing essential facts, detecting inconsistencies, and engaging more deeply with the evidential record as cases develop. The platform is already operational among litigation teams including partners throughout the firm.
In the realm of complex litigation, maintaining clarity on events and potential evidence conflicts is crucial. By efficiently extracting sourced and cited facts from extensive unstructured data, Wexler alleviates the manual workload associated with factual reviews, empowering lawyers to construct persuasive narratives that can withstand rigorous examination. The platform's features also allow legal professionals to identify critical weaknesses during discovery, draft necessary documents, and formulate robust case strategies. Wexler can process as many as 250,000 documents in a single upload, automating vital intelligence gathering in high-stakes disputes and enabling attorneys to concentrate on more strategic, value-driven tasks.
This strategic partnership comes at a time when Wexler is enhancing its footprint across the US following a successful $5.3 million seed funding round in 2025. The platform has gained traction with renowned US law firm Goodwin Procter, as well as several global firms such as Clifford Chance, Addleshaw Goddard, and HSF Kramer. Gregory Mostyn, CEO and Co-founder of Wexler, emphasised the importance of the platform, stating, “Hunton's litigation teams handle some of the most complex litigation in the US. Getting on top of the factual record early is critical to how those cases are won - that's exactly what Wexler is built for.”
