Google hit with massive UK claim

KP Law is representing AGC Collective Actions Limited in a multi-billion pound lawsuit against Google for abuse of its dominance in online display advertising
The claim, filed with the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, asserts that Google has manipulated its Ad Tech services to favour its own offerings at the expense of competitors.
This practice allegedly caused UK advertisers to incur higher costs without equivalent benefits, leading to potential damages estimated up to £3 billion. Advertisers who purchased display advertising from Google, directly or via media agencies, are included in the claim. “Google has a well-documented track record of anti-competitive behaviour in the online digital advertising space,” said KP Law. The ongoing global scrutiny and regulatory actions against Google highlight the severity of these allegations, as regulators in Europe and the US continue to pursue their investigations and lawsuits against the tech giant, promising substantial developments in the coming months. The initiative led by KP Law seeks to secure justice for UK advertisers impacted by these practices with further details available online.
