Global market for alternative legal service providers sees significant growth, according to study

According to the latest Alternative Legal Services Providers 2023 Report, the market for alternative legal services providers has grown significantly over the past two years. The study carried out by the Thomson Reuters Institute, the Center on Ethics and the Legal Profession at Georgetown Law, and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, states that alternative legal services providers now comprise a $20.6 billion segment of the legal market, with a compounded annual growth rate of 20 per cent from 2019 to 2021.
